Current Operations Project:
In support of the Command Staff Survey Program, the Army Heritage Museum has developed a program that focuses on collecting information and artifacts relating to Soldiers in current service. This program was developed in order to provide the Army Heritage and Education center a platform to holistically collect historic material in relation to real time events and periods.

Mission:
Educate and make public to a broad audience the experiences of the current operations Soldier by acquiring and preserving artifacts and associated materials that document today's Army.

Vision:
Bring current operations' Soldier stories to life thru diaries, letters, manuscripts, photographs and the objects they used, carried and maintained throughout the conflict in which they served.

Conclusion:
The project encompasses several preexisting USAHEC programs, to include the veteran survey program and the oral history program. By building on these successes the Current Operations Project has come full circle, providing the Army a cutting edge system of holistically collecting and documenting today's Army. If you are a Soldier that is currently serving or has recently separated from service and would like to participate in the Current Operations Program please contact us at the address provided.
