United States Army Heritage Museum

The United States Army Heritage Museum (AHM), a directorate of the United States Army Heritage and Education Center, acquires, preserves, exhibits, and interprets the art and artifacts of the United States Army and the men and women who served in that Army at home and abroad. Through exhibits and interpretation, the AHM educates the American soldier and the general public about United States Army History.

From the cold of Valley Forge and the hills of Korea to the heat of the American plains and foreign jungles to the current operations of our Army in the field today, Army History is made up of the stories of your fathers, brothers, mothers, and sisters and also of you who have served at home and abroad in peace and war.

The Army Heritage Museum will focus on the experiences of the individual soldier from the rank of private to general through galleries and exhibits that engage and educate, using our Research Collection, our traveling exhibits and the Army Heritage Trail.
