We would like you to join the Carlisle Barracks Community in celebrating Women's History Month throughout the month of March. We will celebrate Women's History Month by distributing information about women's history through our various media sources on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We will also have a presentation and a community service project planned for the month.
We hope that the information we share this month helps you reflect on the service and sacrifices American women have given not only to the U.S. Army, but also to our nation. The operational success of the U.S. Army is dependent on its ability to develop leaders, trained and supported by communities like ours, who are tolerant and accepting, who inspire and motivate, who have the vision and commitment to face the challenges ahead...and who remember, honor, and learn from Army history. |
