Historian Dr. Sarandis Papadopoulos will be a featured speaker about "Pentagon 9/11" for the free AHEC Kleber Reading at Ridgway Hall, Thu., Aug. 27 at 7:15 p.m. The principal co-author of the book, written for the Historian, OSD, Papadopoulos drew from 1300 oral history interviews and other sources to create the first book detailing the impact of the airliner crash into the Pentagon.

Carlisle Barracks construction moves forward, further changing the face of the installation. Major improvements are nearing completion for the updated Vehicle Access Control point at the post's Claremont Road entrance. New housing was completed for USAWC student families, and the next phase of homes for faculty and staff began construction this summer.

Army Emergency Relief drive continues for Soldiers
In 2008, Carlisle Barracks raised more than $64,000 and paid out more than $82,000 in loans and grants. Worldwide, 71,000 Soldiers and families received help. The AER campaign continues to May 15. Contact AER at 717.245.4720.
