Café Cumberland closed on May 13, 2012 (Mother's Day).
The Café Cumberland, the USAHEC's own gourmet eatery, will be closed on Sunday, May 13, 2012 (Mother's Day). The USAHEC facility will be open for normally scheduled hours of operation. Please call 717-245-3972 with any questions.

Restricted Research and Visitation to the USAHEC May 6th -11th
The USAHEC will be at reduced service level for research and exhibit visitation the week of Sunday, May 6th, 2012 thru Friday, May 11th, 2012. USAHEC research and user service will provide limited information and support services and our main exhibits gallery will be open to visitation but it is recommended that you call ahead to 717-245-3972 so that we may best assist you with your planned visit.

Visit the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) for the lecture and workshop, "Discovering the Campaign Experiences of Your Ancestors at USAHEC," presented by Brigadier General (Retired) Harold Nelson on April 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM.

The United States Army Military History Institute announces that the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) Command Historian's Collection , Series VI, Operational Reports-Lessons Learned will be closed starting February 8, 2012. It is expected that the material will be available for research starting May 1, 2012.

USAHEC Scheduled Power Outage for 13 December, 2011
USAHEC has scheduled a power outage on 13 December, 2011 from 0600 to 1200, during this time USAHEC will remain open but access to USAHEC resources will be greatly reduced. The museum store and Café Cumberland will be closed.

The US Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle, PA is pleased to announce their first "Recruiting Station" weekend for reenactment units and reenactors looking for new units to join. The event will be held Saturday, February 18th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
