The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle, PA is pleased to announce the first "Recruiting Station" weekend event. Re-enactors and those interested in participating in living history are invited to visit the USAHEC on Saturday, February 18 between 10:00am - 4:00pm to interact with reenactment units looking for new members. A range of historical periods will be represented, as units from 17th century through the Vietnam War will have representatives on hand to answer questions and provide information about reenacting. USAHEC's prime location on the busy I-81 corridor, coupled with the 10,000+ visitors and living history enthusiasts attending its bi-annual re-enactments, makes USAHEC a great location for units to advertise to new members.

If you are a unit leader and would like to register your unit for a space, go to www.usahec.org and click on the reenactor registration button. Fill out the requested information in the form and type "Recruiting Station Event" in the Other Information box. There is no cost for this event and each unit will receive an allotted space with a 6 foot table and chairs. Additionally, presentations will occur on stage in a designated area, and we will have a couple surprises up our sleeves as well!
