Preface

To assist researchers in a better understanding of how the United States armed services work together, the U.S. Army War College Library presents Jointness: A Selected Bibliography.

A revised and updated version of our earlier bibliographies on jointness, this listing generally includes materials published since 1998. It focuses on various aspects of jointness such as joint operations, joint logistics, interservice cooperation, interservice rivalry, joint communications, and Goldwater-Nichols.

All items included in this bibliography are available in the U.S. Army War College Library. For your convenience, we have added library call numbers or Internet addresses at the end of each entry.
