FROM NORTH
To Claremont Gate: Follow Interstate 81 south to Exit 52, Route 11. From Exit 52, follow Rt 11 south through Middlesex to Harmony Hall Dr (Turkey Hill Mini-Market on left). At the light, turn left following Harmony Hall Dr to Claremont Road. After the stop turn right and continue for about 1 mile to the Carlisle Barracks Claremont gate and security check point. (Allow 10-15 minutes to proceed through security point. If you do not have a DoD sticker on your vehicle, you will have to produce a driver's license, registration and a proof of insurance card.)
To Ashburn Gate: Follow Interstate 81 south to Exit 52, Route 11.To reach the Ashburn Gate:Proceed south through Middlesex on Rt 11 for approx 2 miles to Carlisle Barracks Ashburn gate and security checkpoint. (DoD decal needed on vehicle).
FROM SOUTH
To Claremont Gate: Follow Interstate 81 north to Exit 47, Rt 34, Hanover Street. Follow Interstate 81 north to Exit 47, Rt 34, Hanover Street. Follow Hanover St north through Carlisle center square and continue one city block to North Street. Turn right onto E. North St and continue for about ½ mile to Carlisle Barracks Claremont gate and security check point. (Allow 10-15 minutes to proceed through security point. If you do not have a DoD sticker on your vehicle, you will have to produce a driver's license, registration and a proof of insurance card.)
To Ashburn Gate: Follow Interstate 81 north to Exit 47, Rt 34, Hanover Street. Follow Hanover St north through Carlisle center square and continue through three stop lights to Carlisle Barracks Ashburn gate and security check point. (DoD decal needed on vehicle).
FROM EAST OR WEST
To Claremont Gate: Follow Interstate 76 ( Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Exit 226 (old exit 16). Follow Rt 11 south through Middlesex to Harmony Hall Dr (Turkey Hill Mini-Market on left). At the light, turn left following Harmony Hall Dr to Claremont Road. After the stop turn right and continue for about 1 mile to the Carlisle Barracks Claremont gate and security check point.
